Naomori Tenjou - 天井直盛

Relationship: Classmate, Ex-Friend

Class 2-C student. The two had previous been friends in middle school, however, for unknown reasons, they separated after starting high school. Though he rarely even acknowledges her existence, Sachiko is still amicable towards him.

A cool, collected young man with a dispassionate, irreverent demeanor. Though he openly has little interest in others, he's popular amongst his classmates for his cool appearance and behavior. Strongly dislikes talking about himself, and he has a talent for making conversations surround him rather than be about him.

He is dating Ai Tsubakii at the start of the story.

Kaiichirou Yoyama - 夜山界一郎

Relationship: Friend, Mentor

A student at a local university studying programming. He and Sachiko became friends due to a chance encounter at a conveneicne store. They often spend time together there, where he teaches Sachiko about computers

An awkward but intelligent man, he has a habit of becoming talkative both when he's nervous and when he's passionate. Though he tries to hold himself up as a rational person who only listens to evidence-based logic, he secretly has a fascination with the occult.

Moe Asakawa - 旦皮萌恵

Relationship: Friend

Class 2-A student. She is Sachiko's only friend. They have been friends since the previous year, with Moe having approached Sachiko after hearing about her foreign blood and time spent outside of Japan. While she is one of the few people who doesn't regard Sachiko as strange or alien, there are times she comes across as speaking over the other girl.

A confident and lively girl seeking a cosmopolitan lifestyle. She adores anything different from the life she was raised in, from foreign culture to rebellious fashion. Easily amused by new things and easily bored of familair things, her flippant, impulsive personality belies a strong worldview and aspirations.

She's actually from a wealthy, traditional family, and her rebellious nature came about due to her disastisfaction with her family and home.

Ai Tsubakii - 椿居藍

Relationship: Classmate

Class 2-C representative. Someone Sachiko has a disagreeable relationship with. She has little tolerance for Sachiko's strange mannerisms and uncooperativeness, and even fewer tolerance for Sachiko's seeming unawareness of that fact.

The flower of Class 2-C, she's loved by many of her peers for her socialable nature and warm, "old-fashion" charm. Her enthusiasm and humbleness makes her popular amongst other girls; while her demure and caring nature has her considered the ideal girlfriend by many boys. Despite this, she gets little respect from her fellow student council members.

She's in love with Naomori Tenjou.

Hatsue Sakishiro - 代初枝

Relationship: ???

Class 3-A student. A mysterious upperclassman who had transferred in the previous year. Despite quickly becoming one of the top students in both academics and sports, very little in known about her. Some look up at her as an idol, others look down on her as unnerving, but not one person can call her a friend.

A serious, quiet girl. Her tall stature and tough appearance makes her come off as intimidating, with some of her classmates spreading rumors of her engaging in delinquent activity. Little is known about her personal life, only that she's rarely seen outside of school.

She appears to have an interest in Sachiko.
